Hi all,

Experts please help me identify what morph my cornsnake is?

what other types of pictures are needed to identify him/her..

The head to the 3/4 body is abit yellow, the rest is pinkish red i think..

It's actually called amelanistic but people just call it amel for short.

like someone else previously said, amel is short for amelanistic.

snakes with multiple traits will have 'longer' names (if a trade name is not used instead), like "hypo lavender motley", etc.. Every trait adds to the name. hypo lavender motley is 3 different traits.

some people will also list het's when giving their snakes morph, like "hypo lavender motley het bloodred anery". Het's cannot be determined by looking at the snake and are known by knowing it's genetic makeup (what morphs it's parents were)

Amel....with Carmel heritage(I found My old amel line with carmel genetics always had more Yellow than others)?

Yeah, my Amel Mot het Caramel Stripe is deffinitely more yellow than my regular amel. So yours might be het caramel, but only way to know for sure is to breed to a caramel morph or carrier.

btw, wat is the base colour of amels? pink? i only noticed tt he/she is abit yellow only around the head and 1/4 body after it shed.. before tt, it was pink.

The base color of amels can range greatly. Some are different shades of orange and other can be pink while some can even be red.
