What is your cornsnakes name?

all these names with big meanings some of you are very deep,,,,,my amel ruby got her name from the first time i saw her and those inquiring ruby red eyes looked into my soul..then she bit me.... :grin01:

Two snakes

Snakes -

Techy (Aztec) - Amel male about 5 1/2 feet long. We named him after indian corn..he is the same color.. Techy for short ..since my hubby is a computer geek.

Mimi is a 3 yr, 3ft long, very brightly colored normal. We thought she was a Okeetee and Mimi is a shortened version of Miami...

Rats are:

Boys - Jeepster & Gromet
Girls - Neila, Dayla and Twila

OK, so here goes:
1.1 Albino Het Motley and Snow : Sneaky (cause he tries to get out all the time) & Peeky (You can walk by her cage and she is somewhere different every time trying to peek at you)
1.1 Miami Het Hypo: Don (as in Johnson--Miami Vice :) ) & Lola
1.2 Okeetees (Love Line) Cyrano, Possum & Stinker (my husband named her that because she ALWAYS strikes at him)
1.1 Orange Pueblans: Loopy (because he's a little off) & Poopy (because that's what she does EVERY time you try to handle her)
1.1 Arizona Mtn Kings: Tricky (again the escape artist thing) & Sticky (this one got out and somehow found the duct tape??? She was stuck to it for quite a while...took many hours to get her off of that :eek1: )
0.1 albino banded king: Kinky (we bought her from a pet store that had slammed the cage lid down on her and she had several broken ribs--kinks...we've fattened her up for 2 years and you can't see or feel them now)
0.1 striped albino king: Tiny (came to us at 10 grams)
1.1 Western Hognose: Stumpy & Ms. Piggy (as if I could name them anything else......................)

As you can tell by my signature the name is Spot. He came with his name, I inherited him from my dear friend and teacher buddy upon retirement. The name was chosen by the class she was teaching voting on it at the time. I'm new to this site, but a picture of my buddy will be on in the next week or so. :wavey:

My two corns:

Diva - because she is a real diva :)
Chubbs - because of the big lump on his tail..

Well, might as well name the "non-snake pets" too..

Cats: Nala and Baileys

Ferrets: Ithil Cermie Louis Lestat and Ithil Hisime Rashwe

Bearded dragon: Tarek

and last, but not least, our lovely spiders:
Lillith (Chilean Rose), Amber (Costa Rican Zebra), Zulu (Starburst Baboon) and Cobe (Cobolt Blue)

Well I just got my snake yesterday, he's (I'm guessing it's a he) an Amel, and I've decided on the name "Dexter" for now (means flexible and able bodied in latin, I thought it suited a snake) Maybe it will change if once I discover more of his personality, it's kinda hard with him in his hide.

hiya

hiya, i am a new user to the site but i have been keeping corn snakes since i was 3 when my dad has his first snake! and 11 years down the line, i still have my snakes, and i help with the running and organisation of a rescue centre for reptiles based at home. at present i have, 2 normals, 3 snows, 2 amels, 1 candycane, and 2 anerythristics and 32 hatchlings from this year.
i have just lost my eldest corn snake she was gettin o for 16 years old! she was a snow corn and she was one of my dads ex breeders but then he passed her on to me. i think that the corns have always been a fave but i like all snakes and have a large collection of my own and a specially built tropoical house for the large burmese pythons and the anaconda.
im glad tohave found some where were i can talk about my interests!
hayley.

Wowsers! :sidestep:

Much as love snakes, I wouldn't like to keep stuff that gets to the sort of sizes they can attain. They freak me out once they get over the 10 foot mark.

What sort of size are your ones ?
