What kind of water do you use?

I also use bottled drinking water from Wal-mart. I drink tap water myself.

Oh, Gintha, the bottled water I use comes from the kisatchie spring in Louisiana. You're right about one thing, though. You have to read the labels, because lots of bottled water comes from some city's municipal water supply.

I use bottled water. It's a bit ironic, because I drink filtered tap water myself! I'm really spoiling the snakes, huh? :)

Hehe. We all love spoiling our little guys. ;)

I give them bottled water. And of course, I dont drink any of the bottled watter for myself, its all for the snakes!

tap water, leave it sit open for 24 hours, (for chlorine to evaporate)add reptisafe, cap, shake and serve. :)

Whatever you choose, do not use distilled water. It lacks can cause an electrolyte imbalance.

I use bottled water for my snake but use tap water for my parrot. Go figure me out!

Bottled water may seem cheep but consider this....... I pay $1.00 for a feeder mouse and a buck for a bottle of water. Both need to be re-purchased every ten days. By not using tap water, I have doubled the cost of food and water for Mr. Bill (OH NOOOO!).

We use Britta filtered water - it's when you put tap water in a Britta jug with a filter in it and wait a minute or two for it to filter through before drinking it. We live in Southern California and I'm guessing the water is hard here. Is this enough? or should we get the Repti stuff for our snake?
The cats drink plain tap water and they seem fine with it so far.

My water now contains chloramines which are fatal to reptiles and fish so I use the purified water from my triple osmosis filter. I always used that for their drinking water, but now when I thaw the mice, I have to heat up the pure water in the microwave instead of using the hot water from the tap. Pain in the butt!

I put mine in a plastic bag when I thaw them. I have a Pur filter on my tap for me and the cat but buy bottled spring water for the snakes and mice. I like the 2.5 gallon container. I put it on top of the rack so the dispenser sticks over the edge and just hold the bowl under it to fill.
