alright i was talking to you folks couple weeks ago bout my male corn not eating and you guys assured me it was because he was lookin for a female to mate with and it was that time of the season well its been a while since he's still eating going on a couple mnths probably he's still very active still trying to escape and he even just shed he hasn't takin a crap or at least hardly ever until i tried to feed him and he killed the food then didn't eat it the next day i tried feedn him again and he was just gettin bitten up so i put him back in his cage and i look at his water bowl a while later after he shed and there was like it looks like a frog's egg all black and darkish green in the middle covered with what apears like (but probably not) algae like a somthing around it suspended in the water it seriously looks like an egg or somehting then there's also well it looks like crumbled crackers in the water also it could be his piss or soemthign but the texture of it looks like crumbled crackers what the hell is this im dumpin the water and hopin to never see this but he hasnt' eatn so what is this????

It could be just weird poo. Thier digestive systems can do some amazing things to the ordinary mouse. Do you have a pic?

Maybe you should try stunning the mouse first, actually not maybe you should stun it. The mouse can do a lot of damage to your snake. I recently got a yearling, she was eating f/t fuzzies. I couldn't find fuzzies so I fed her pinkies, which I didn't stun. She wouldn't eat and looked terrified, obviously the pinkies couldn't hurt her, but I think it was the movement which scared her. Next try I stunned the pinkies she ate two no problem.
As far the shed and poop in it I've been told the process of shedding can cause them to poop and it's sort of in the middle of the shed, mine have done it a couple times and it does look like a lump of YUK. :puke01: susan
 
These snakes can crap out some weird stuff. I have an adult w/c female that has refused food since mid-May. The other day, she crapped some normal stuff, but next to it was a mini-Slim-Jim. I swear, that's exactly what it looked like. It was about the length of a mouse without tail (hmmmm), and about half the girth of a pencil. The only thing I can think is that it was mouse skin that had become rolled up tightly going through the g.i. tract. Needless to say, I didn't snap into it. :puke01:
 
wow lots of interesting replies umm to lefty musolini: i had a lot to say i wanted to make sure people knew what the hell i was lookn at i mean it really looked like a almost like an enlarged sperm it had a dark mass almost like it had a yolk on the inside even darker and it had squiggly green things almost like long very thin strands of algae i dunno some wierd **** but whoever asked for a picture no i already threw it out my descriptions is all i have.... and to susang hes not eating pinkies he eats fresh hamsters big ones or small ones i have a pretty big snake hes bout 4.5 ft long and 2 yrs old he doesn't have problems eating hes just not hungry for a hamster i guess according to you guys hes hungry for a female someone to mate with...and roy damn i laughed hard when i heard that what the **** kinda poop is that...? a slim jim what the hell mine don't look like poop at all it looks like an intestine or something that.... i don't know i should of taken a picture but i just hope he eats soon it seem slike too long how that hell do you shed after not eating for the longest time

I didn't think you were feeding pinkies, since he is getting bitten, this may stress him, although it may not have until now and he time killed and ate his prey. The point I was making about pinkies was I have a snake stressed by live pinkies as a comparison to what some snakes might fear. susan

I was more talking about the lack of punctuation. You need to throw a couple of periods in there. Just a helpful suggestion as it makes your posts much easier to read. :)

And the poop doesn't sound like anything to worry about.

I believe lefty mussolini understood that you had a lot to say. I believe he was implying that if you used more punctuation (or any), it would be a lot easier for people to understand what, exactly, you had to say. Try reading that whole paragraph, pausing for breath ONLY where you have used punctuation of some sort. For one, only singers or woodwind players in good shape could actually do it. Even I couldn't do it, and I have really great breath retention. For two, it would be terribly difficult to understand. The human brain needs punctuation--both verbal and written. Even your ellipses (...), though they are incorrectly used, are helpful, because they provide the brain a "breath," so to speak. He was just trying to good-naturedly remind you that taking the time to write a well-constructed post in terms of grammar and punctuation will really elicit better responses. I, for one, admittedly, only read your initial post half-way through, because I had a difficult time understanding it.

I second that, very nicely put Stephanie! You articulated perfectly what I was thinking in responce to the backlash Lefty received.

Crunk, the pic request was probably to analyze weather or not the "weird poop" was a regurge. Doesn't really sound like it though. How many days after your snakes meal did the weird poo show up?
