i have a creamsicle corn that i got 3 months ago. never had one and havent really done any research. i bought the whole set up complete with everything but i need to know if there is routine things i need to do for my snake other than feed and keep tank clean. ive read alot on here about misting, hide box, etc but dont really know what they are. my snake is a adult female. she is very active. she seems "happy" and eats well. couple more ?s what is a corn average lifespan and how big can they get? this one is big compared to all the pics on here. and has not shed since we had her. how often do they shed? sorry for lots of questions just want to care for her properly.

Why didn't you do research about corn snakes before you bought one??? 
You should mist the cage with a little bit of water when the snake goes into shed. There should be a hide box at each end of the vivarium (hot and cold bit of vivarium). They can live up to 15 years and they can grow to about 6ft, bt the normaly stay around 4-5ft.

Many people provide a moist hide at or around shedding time which is any hide with moistened moss or equivalent in it so the snake can go and immerse themselves in a more humid environment when they choose.
Misting the tank or placing a water bowl over a heat mat or under a lamp are other methods to increase humidity if that is required. Some people need to do none of these things depending on where they live.

i recomend you buy the cornsnake manual, i believe the person who wrote it actually uses this forum (and may say, if you read this, thanks for the great book). buy it from www.amazon.com it will teach you just about everything you need to know
