What to do

Because i have only just gotten a seperate thing for my snake to eat in well after he's eaten do i just pick him up like normal and put him back in his cage or will he think theres still more food coming and hell bite me in an attempt to eat me? :shrugs:

Wash your hand to remove any smell of the mouse and after he digested the mouse, yes just gently place him back in the cage.

Give the food time to settle and move down to the stomache and then you can gently move the snake back to his viv. Or what I usually do is put the opened feeding tub into the viv and let them crawl out on ther own.

How big is your snake? I feed all 3 of mine in paper bags and just tip the bags over in the viv and let them crawl out. Tiaga, my adult can be very, not nice right after eating and the one and only time she tagged me was when i was trying to pick her up out of a feeding container and back into her viv. That's when I switched to paperbags and that seems to work well for me. Just an idea for you to consider.Good luck.
