I will be moving into an apartment this coming August and I won't have air conditioning. I live in Ohio and it can get pretty hot at times, sometimes in the low 90s. Will this be a problem for my corn? Whats too hot for the cool side? Is there anyway I could lower the air temp.?

warm side shouldnt exceed 84... anything between 72 and 76 is what my cool side is always at. i have the same problem with no air con, central heating is always on therefore to keep the temps balances, always have the bedroom windows open and it keeps the temps perfect.

sounds silly but its also the only way i can keep my body temp right too...

According to The Corn Snake Manual By Kathy Love Copyright 2000 pages 19-20, The approximate temperature range should be 70 - 88 degrees F. If you use a basking light, the temperature directly under the light could be as high as 95 degrees F.

if really needed you could run a SMALL fan over the cool side. i have to do this in the summer when outside can get up to 30C (like 140 F)(i think) and my rooms way upstairs in my house so it never gets THAT cool with the AC (heat rises) so i have fans run over all my vivs. only good thing is its easier to keep humidity for my boas :p
