i just got a new baby corn snake and im no expert on snakes i only know the basic care and stuff. i looked at my new corn snake and one eye is bigger than the other. is this unusual? is it like something really bad like a tumor or something? if no one has ever herd of this happening to a snake then i will consider takeing her to a vet. she acts fine. very unshy and always moveing around the only thing that is wrong with her is the fact that it has been 8 days since her last feeding and i have never fed her since she is new and her last feeding was in the store. but i figured that that was just her settleing in. should i take her to a vet of is this not a problem. because i want the best for my corn snake.

Can you post a pic so people can see the size difference?

Is the size difference of the eyes a big or small difference?

On the feeding issue, you should put her in a deli cup or some other container with a pinky and let her eat. If you have questions on feeding techniques, there are lots of threads here that describe how to do it. Or if you have other questions, post them here.

I looked at the pics from when you got him. Is his left eye _small?_ I can't see it clearly in the pics, but his right eye, in the pics, looks normal. Can you take a close up straight down over his head?

yes i will try to get a picture of her but now that i think of it i dont know if one eye is bulging out and realy big or one is just too small like i said i am no snake expert but it would seem it would be a worse problem if an eye was bulging out then an eys being smaller than normal but i will have a picture up soon.

well no need i took him to the pet store that i got him from and to the vet guy in the pet store and there was something wrong with her one eye was bulging out so thats why she wouldnt eat. the vet said i would need alot of detication and care to get her normal again so i as much as it hurt me to give her back i did and traded her in for a boy :[ but thanks for trying to help me :]

Sorry to hear that you had to give up your first girl. It's probably for the better though, it can't be fun to have to deal with issues on your first snake. I hope this one works out better for you. ;)

it's a good thing that you got her in on time. I waited a bit too long with my first snake and she ended up dying before i could help.
