Good Morning,

Just wondering when I would start feeding 2 pinkies at a time? Cane is 3-4 mths old I think. smaller than a pencil. I am feeding a small pinkie every 4 days and she always takes it right away. She definitely couldn't eat a bigger pinkie. She is much smaller than a pincil in diameter.

I would go ahead and offer a second small pinky, if she doesn't want it she won't take it. my sweets is 4 months and he's just started peach fuzzies but he's a big boy. He had been eating 2 pinks every 5 days for about 2 months before we moved up to peach fuzzies. Do you feed in a seperate container?

yes..

I feed her in a separate container. But with my 2yr old(Houdini) I have always fed in his viv, and he seems to like it. e;s always been a good eater so I don't want to change anything. I do however put the mouse in a tupperware dish. So he always knows it food time when I put in a tupperware container this way he knows its not always time to eat when I stick my hand in!!! :crazy02:

I don't know if this is how you're supposed to do it, but this is what did. My snake, Sienna is a little over 2 months old and about 20 inches, she was already on peach fuzzies when I got her a month ago, and she's been eating regular fuzzies more recently. Well, she's always been a good eater, but one time when I put her back she continues to hunt around for food...and continued to do so until the next feeding time. So I added a pink to her next meal, and she took it right away. I watched her closely and she had no obvious lump after 48 hours and pooped (as usual) around 52 hours after eating. So I know that was fine for her.

Long story short, I read on here somewhere that if they eat a meal and have no noticeable lump 48 hours later, and poop on their normal schedule then its fine to move them up to that size meal on a regular basis. Hope that helps some, and that it made sense...I'm a little sleepy today.
