When should my snake move up to fuzzies?

I've been feeding my snake pinkies for a while, then moved up to fuzzies recently. It took about triple the time for him to swallow it but I would like to know if there is a good rule of thumb for whether I should feed my snake pinkies or fuzzies.

the general rule of thumb about prey size is : 1 to 1.5 times the biggest part of the snake. :)

I follow this, and I also look at my snake when digesting: if the prey barely makes a lump in the midsection and/or you don't see a lump in the midsection after 24 hours (too soon for handling, still digesting), then it's time to move up...I usually double-up on prey size first (going from one pinky to double pinks, instead of directly to fuzzy) just to give the snake an easier adjustment time of preparing to digest a bigger meal. :)
