When to feed after pipping?...

I was just curious how long after the eggs pip do I offer pinkies?.. I had some problem feeders from last year's clutch and I wanted to do things right, I've also been told that it's not good to handle them for quite a while after they hatch, and also to wait a good week for the first shed before offering the first meal... I was just wondering if someone could set me straight on this, I had a humidity problem this clutch so I'm only expecting around 7 to hatch anyway, but I'm still new to the breeding thing, I'm goind to look for an incubator between now and next years breeding time anyway, thanx for any replies in advance, Marshall P..

You answered your own question.

While it's not a hard and fast rule, thats the approach most people (myself included) take.
