when to feed?

zeeboismysnake

Rain rain go away...
So my parents are throwing their big annual summer party tomorrow and I'm worried about it stressing Zeebo out. My room's on the main floor and while the party is mostly in the backyard, there will still be people in the living room and kitchen (which are both near my room and sound goes straight through my walls  ). So pretty much there's gonna be lots of noise for a long period of time (like 5 hours. Party starts at 6-ish and usually doesn't end till well after 10). This wouldn't be a big problem if feeding day wasn't tomorrow :bang:.

So I want your guys' expert opinions on when I should feed him. If I feed him before the party I'm scared he'll get stressed and regurge. But if I feed him after the party I'm afraid he'll already be stressed from the loudness (and prolly lots of people holding him) and won't want to eat. Zeebo hasn't had any feeding problems before, but I'm still worried and any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks :)

I would suggest waiting till after the party. As far as I know (and I don't know much :p ) snakes won't eat if they are stressed, so if he does eat then, it means he's not stressed and he is not likely to regurge or anything.

Can you keep the handling down to a minimum during the party - a little lie can work wonders if people are getting too interested in handling him - he's just eaten, or he's going through a biting phase?

Hope you enjoy the party though :)
