Hello, I was just wondering, how long does it take a blizzard corn to turn from the pink see-through color to the dazzling pure white? Thanks....

BTW for anyone who read a previous post of mine about getting rid of my snakes, I have some info. A friend of mine locally has agreed to care for them while my career takes over my life. After this year (I'm a teacher), I'm going to let go of some duties to make time for myself and my pets, and I'll get them back.

Well I don't have a blizzard, but i would say roughly after six months of successful feeding, give or take 2 months, you will have yourself a blizzard that is coming into its white color.

I have a pair of blizzards, and Matt's estimate is about right, though it really seems more dependent on size than age. Here is a bad pic of my female blizz at about one month old, and another at about 7-8 months.

well, I think that I have some sort of dwarf blizzard corn....when I got her, I was told she was born on the 22nd of July, 2005. This B-day makes her over 7 months old. She looks like the first pic, little wormy pink thing, maybe 16 inches long, and pencil thin. She eats an appropriate sized pinky every 5-7 days. What's the deal? Could it be that the breeder I bought her from was mistaken on her B-day? Any tips or suggestions?

Sounds like she needs to eat a lot more. When they're on single pinks, I feed every 3-4 days. When they hit about 15g I go to double pinks every 4-5 days. When they hit about 25g I go to a single fuzzy every 5-6 days.

Yes!!!! Now we have Dean's secret growth plan!!!

I understand that they won't all go completely white...I've seen some with yellow banding and I still think that they are very attractive. I'm just hoping to get something other than a transluscent pink snake out of the deal.
