Why havent my corns mated yhet? They have had 2 batches and the last batch hatched on the 4th of July. This time I told myself I would be ready. So everything is out and weighting. Incabater is on and stable and I took out all branches in the tank. The only thing they have is a big round tupaware container with a hole through the side and spagum moss in it and there water dish. I put the nest container in about 2 months ago.... Thinking it will make her hapyer and raise the moisture enough to entice them better.

And all that I have noticed as of today is that they both coil up in the container 90% of the time, flatening the moss, and not dooing the jerk ;)

When I take the container out with both of them in it I make sure to check her stomach and then I check the moisture of the moss. If it is dry I take them both out of the container and put them in the cage and mist both sides of the flatend moss. I notice he starts dooing the "Jerk" when I move them out of the container... hehehe This is just what I call it (the Jerk). ;) But then she just runs into the container and they both just sit in it.

As of today that have both refused to eat. Over the past mone or so, he was the first to not eat and now both of them are not eating.

What is wrong? Or is it to soon and this time I am weighting for it. Unlike the last 2 times ware it was a shock to us each time. We are always ready but up untill now we were not looking for it to happon the last 2 times. And now they are just upseting me. hehehe ;)

Hi
This happened to me last year so i asked for help.
I can only tell you what people on this forum told me.

I was advised to seperated mine and try again a couple of weeks later, that did the trick :)
The first time i put them together my female just wasn't interested at all.
(us females won't be rushed)

Try it and see if it works for you too

Good luck

Thank you for your reply. I will try that this week.
