Where can I buy a thermostat?

Haya Tha'baan

my little worm
I think the heating pad for my snake is getting too hot and I need a thermostat. What kind of thermostat should I get and where can I find such a thing?

What is your budget? I love the Herpstat, either the entry-level model or the ND. I have 12 of them and have never experienced a problem. They will run $120-$140. You can buy them from Spyder Robotics. If you can't afford that, my choice of a cheap thermostat would be the Alife, which you can purchase at The Bean Farm. I think they are about $35.

I'm afraid that he may have burnt himself. His belly looks pink. He likes to burrow under the substrate and lay right next to the heater. He's been doing it for months, but this is the first time I've seen what I suspect is a burn. I put a washcloth over the UTH to insulate but he keeps going under it. I don't want him to burn more, so what should I do in the mean time till the thermostat comes?
