Is it totally out of the question to have one custom-made and have a professional fix it in place? Corns are so good at escaping and get very strong (mine is anyway)- if you bought one that didn't quite fit/wasn't fixed securely enough you'd probably come home to find them both in the same side!

You can take it to a glass shop and they will probably charge you around $20 to put something like that in.

As an alternative you can put it in a rubbermaid shoe box and close the lid. You can put the shoe box inside the viv. Then one gets free roam and the other is a bit more restricted but they are apart still. This will only cost you $4

You could get a piece of plexiglass and cut it to fit just right in the tank. Then you could get silicone sealant (like caulk....or use caulk....clear would just look nicer) and seal up any gaps, and hold it in place.

I have never done that, but to me it seems like the most logical choice. Real glass would probably work too, it just seems like plexi would be easier to work with.
I would just make sure the top edge is sorta smooth (use a file or something) and make sure it comes all the way up to the top so a little guy doesn't squeeze over and visit his neighbor.
