Where can I get co2?

Yep, I use a "remote" intended for the use of paintball guns specifically. They retail for $25-$50 at shops. I bought mine of eBay for $10.

i think he was wrong...anyways i got a 9 oz cartrage, they didn't have any other parts that i need, so i'm gonna look for a welding supply place tomarrow.
btw what exactlt do i need? all i have right now iit a small tank.

I do not mean to sound rude here, the link to the "how to build a kill tank" is perfect. It explains what you need and how to apply it. I cannot do any better than that thread already has.

Its not rude...but I've been searching for thread like that, and i can't even find that one. please post the link or something.

right on, thanks man.........i've been on the phone w/ a bunch of places this morning. i'm having a really hard time finding a release valve. the welding suppiers said they don't carry any that small, and the paintball guys told me that they don't have anything that could be regulated, it's basicly just an on switch.....has anyone build one using a paintball tank, and what did u use for the release valve?
for the record this perticular question is not answered by any other threads

When calling paintball supply houses, you must ask for a "REMOTE" not a regulator! If they don't have them, they aren't half as "Sick" as you thought.

For the record, this particular question has in fact been answered in another thread. FYI, this thread was also linked at the very beginning of this thread but I'll assume you missed it.

Also did you take a look at the webpage Graffixcs linked you to? It answers that question as well. It was in fact the inspiration of my design.

just wanted to say thanks for the help. i got everything set up for under $75 and just used it. i used one of those plastic barrels that come w/ pretzels or mixed snacks. works great and big enough for an adult rat. anyways, thanks again.

Well i suppose the co2 is a better idea than what ive been told by several of the local petshops in Oklahoma City. They just tell me to throw them in a bag and stuff them in the freezer. Kinda harsh isn't it?

Good job. I am glad you got it all worked out, now apart for a couple of bucks for CO2 you are set to humanely dispose of all the feeders you want.

Hell yeah! I was amazed at how quick it worked, and seemingly painless it looked. I really wish I had gotten one earlier, now I feel bad, knowing how much more painful it must have been to them when I broke the necks. (i mean the part when i was trying to get the forceps around their necks)
