Where does my corn come from???

maddy4moos

Salsa's parent :D
hey,
I resently got a corn snake to keep me company. Just wondering where he came from.... I understand that he was bred in captivity.

woud appreciate any help thanks!

Breeding in captivity means that he was bred from a breeder. There are tons of breeders out there, and pet stores, and reptile shops, that all sell captive born snakes.

Biologically - An egg . . . from a female . . . and a male.

Physically - from a pet store or breeder.

Native Range - Southeastern United States.

Evolutionarily - Lizards.

South east the direction would be down and to the right . . . looking at a map of the US, it would be down and to the right . . . that would include:
Florida (most Southeast), Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee . . . Deciduous Forest.

What you call sarcasm, I call covering all the bases. Thanks though for your addition to the information superhighway in this thread! :)

Maddy it's ok, you're still ok in my book.

It worked out because I personally didn't know where South-Eastern United States was. :shrugs:

BTW, I failed to properly credit the above image:

I don't think anyone was making fun of you for not knowing where they came from, they were more poking fun at the extreme vagueness of your question.

thats cool then! Thanks for answering it anyway guys! :D :) :D

...my corn is now best friends with a lepord gecko!
anyone know if they could have come from the same kinda area... (yeah i know they where bred in captivity) just curious...

lol yeah, they get on really well thouh... i think so anyway. they ain't bothered by each other... if i am holding them both at the same time, Salsa the snake with quite happily 'slither' over the top of Louie the Geckos tail.
