Buying online for one young corn is not gonna be very economical due to shipping costs. I would suggest checking on kingsnake.com they have a list of feeder companies, hopefully one of those stores will be close by and you could make a little road trip for them

well i cant find any place in okc, i found this place in texas, frozenrodent.com they ship per weight of package, and ill buy from them, if it cost more then buying from the petstore ill just buy from the store.

I'm tore b/t buying from the store or online. I'll have to check the local prices. With ~$23 for shipping, i can't imainge it not being cheaper to buy them from a local store.

Sometimes Rodent Pro is at the NOAH show (2/20). They have also been at the All Cleveland Show (2/13) since it has started. No shipping charges but I think the prices are a little higher at the show then online.

dand! You're right! i'm going to the noah show (work permitting) and i hadn't even thought of that. Also, there's little family owned store in Lakewood called "Pet's General Store". I've been buying from them for about 4 years now and love seeing my money go them.

Brett,

If you make it to the NOAH show stop by and say hello. I should be the first table to the left as you come in the door.

Will do! The date is the 20th of this month, 10a-4pm, correct? I have it in my planner. Should probably go look ;-)

what will you be displaying/selling at your booth?

Yep, the 20th 10:00 to 4:00. I'll have mostly Corns and some Kings.

yea, that's what i thought. I got the advertisement for the show in Noah's most recent newsletter. That reminds me, i have to renew my membership this month.

Hope to see you there!

I too am torn between buying on line and buying them from the local store. So far there's only one that sells fuzzy's. The other one sells only pinkies. Right now I'm buying my fuzzy's at the the local pet store which is 20 mins from me and they charge $0.95 for each and you have to buy 5 at a time. Up until this last bunch the only thing I hated was the fact that I had to open each bag to check the sizes. Sometimes the fuzzy's were very big, like hoppers and sometimes they are tiny like peach fuzzy's and any size inbetween. But after the last group of 5 I'm a little hesitant to go back since the one snake wouldn't touch any of them and the other one regurgitate the only one it got from that group fo 5. It might have just been a bad group or nothing at all and I'm just being paranoid. The one that wouldn't eat can take fuzzy's fine. The other one was eating a small fuzzy the last 5-6 feedings. And I'm really not sure it was a regurge or an undigest fuzzy. While looking on line I found that at Rodent Pro I can buy 100 for $40.10 which will run about $0.40 each for peach fuzzy's. The PF's I can feed to both snakes, I just might have to give the one two before I end the pack.
Does anyone know how long PF's keep in the freezer? If I can use the entire I save money. But if I can't and have to get rid of half of them then its not worth it. I should give them a call and see if they would package them in packs of 50 or 25. That way I wouldn't have to open them all. Anyone have any luck with the online companies doing that? Would you guys take a chance and go buy another group at pet store or would you just fine somewhere else to buy from?

Sorry so long! Thanks!!!

Jean
