Allright.... it seems that most of you think that the babies are normal coloured. But what about the other two we have? We thought they were normal coloured. Now I'm real confused:D

You can see them both on the picture lying close together. They don't have exactly the same ground-colour, one of them are more orange and the other is more greyish. What colour are they?

Look like normals to me, different species of normals vary like their colours change depending on what state they orginate from because of the diet consistancy there and the genes so have a look at different types of normals. You should get the corn snake manual by the Loves that's a BIG help.

Rachel:)

Normals also...

As the little ones mature, they will also develop more orange. There is ALOT of varience when it comes to normals. Normals have all three of the pigments: red, yellow, and black. All 4 of your snakes display these pigments.

hey.

Yea i say those two are normals also, normals are different from each other, but they are really nice.

Just a few different names for normals...okeetee and miami are the two main normal variations I can think of. Okeetees are quite orange as adult and have think black borders around their saddles and bold black checkers on their bellies. Miami's have more of a silvery gray base color and redder saddles, I think.

There are five "normal" variants I know of, Okeetee, Keys corn, Miami, Melanistic "washed" and the normal/"Classic" corn all of these are found wild but some are more rare than others such as miami, keys, melanistic, and okeetee and all are considered normal variants. Like the others said that is a baby and will get its colors in more with each shed.

I can NEVER forget any "wild type" corn that occurs! LOL I just love the localities! SO many out there to choose from and all the different looks! I *LOVE* the wild occurring anerys!

I've taken one more shot of one of the babies:

You can see the grey ground-colour (or what's it called?) Do you really mean it will be orange like the big ones? Or is it a Miami phase? The saddles are allso very dark red.

What about the big ones? Are they Okeetee?

Sorry for all the silly questions ;)
