Which is better, size wise?

I am going to buy Hokie a new viv soon. He is 18" long now and still in his little ten (to be honest, he still LOOKS small in it!!) but I am going to be getting him a larger viv soon.

I am going to go with a critter cage, with a locking, sliding top, and would like to know what size you all think would be better- a 30 breeder 36" x 18" x 12", or a 29 tall 30" x 12" x 18"?

I have seen him along the rim of the 10 gallon, so I know he does climb- just not all that often it seems. :shrugs: So do I go for floor space or a bit of height for climbing space?

Corns typically prefer floor space to height, as they're a terrestrial species. I would go with the 30 breeder. 12 inches is still plenty of room for climbing should your snake like to use it.

I would agree that the floor space is more important. I think he will do very well in the 30 gallon breeder tank.

You can always put in branches for him to climb around on if he needs to climb a bit.
