I know the snakes in my area and am very carefull when finding a snake, but would like to know if there are wild corns in my area which is North Alabama(Huntsville)? Also where do corns hide in the wild?

The area I've heard there are the most is Florida. I'd check under stuff in the heat of the day, and look for them in other places in the evening. Chances are they'll be hiding from the sun. For your first question, I have to say that I have no idea... Maybe you could try google under cornsnakes, wild, and location.

there are corns in your area but there ulgy I baught some a few years back the only thing I thought they would be good to cross to is hypo & amel .

North Alabama corns

When I got my corns frorm North Alabama there was one from Mobile in the shipment It was a good looking snake it looked way diffrent then the ones up north It had nice red orange saddles on a gray & orange backround It looked like low grade Maimi corn . It was very pretty I like the ones from mobile some of the corns from there get solid orange colored backround . this is the guy I got my corns from Dave Evans tel.256-379-3541 or 539-7297 good luck vinman .

yes

yes there are corns in northern Alabama and just because Vinman got a couple of snakes he considered ugly it sure doesn't mean that all of the corns from Northern Alabama or any of the corns from Northern Alabama, for that matter, are ugly.
It just means that the two he got didn't look good to HIM.

I can come up with as many people, probably more, who have caught or seen Northern Alabama corns who have found them to be every bit as nice as any other locale, as you can people who supposedly think they are ugly.
All you do is post negative post after negative post.
Everything is a negative to you.
Ugly locale corns, the corn snake gene pool polluted, hybrids taking over the world..blah..blah...blah
it is really getting old.
I know you will post a comment to this post and it could go on forever, so, say what you need to say and we will end it there.

wild corns

Hay Jimmy If you look at all my replys on this thred you will see that I said the corns from mobile Al. look pretty that is not a negative . the ones that the 2 other people and me got from north Al.were all ulgy and we got them all from diffrent collectors. evrybody in N.Y. who seen them said what are you going to do with them, everybody said they were ulgy. this is not only my oppinon. not every popultion of corns are good looking. most popultions of corns in the wild are not the most attractive animals. you have to look to find some spots with nice colerd snakes. No one told him not to hunt for corns in north Al. All I said is that the ones I and two others seen from there were ulgy
When dave sent me the snakes he said I sent you two nice ones they are orange. Yes they were orange with a heavy brown over wash. they were orange brown. If you seen better please send me pics. please I'm very interested in what you seen .Do you live in Al. buy the way I even gave the guy Daves phone # so he could give dave a call for some info. and told him good luck. I think you are being a little hard on me I think you should read this thred agin peace vinman
