I wouldn't worry too much about it. My snakes light is on a timer that shuts off at 8pm and the lights in my house are always going on and off after that time, I figure its like a sunset type of period until I go to bed. Now it doesn't even bother him at all and he comes out even if the lights are on and I am moving around, hopefully it will be the same type of situation with your snake. Hope that helped
it is probably limiting the time he spends out and about though, i mean if he only comes out when its dark. Perhaps you could use a lamp or something limiting the light levels in one part of the room, or (as long as theres no problem doing this heating wise), throw a sheet over the viv to block out light.
I wouldn't have thought it would affect your snakes like bio-schedule...whatever hehe, beacause i thought that as long as your snake has access to some natural light from outdoors etc. then it will be able to keep track of seasons etc. through natural light length and strength, or something like that anyways :shrugs: :bang:
