I know she did post over here, and it just occured to me that no-one told you guys i don't think...

Its with deepest regret i have to tell you, Jane suffered a massive brain hemmorage last wednesday and thursday, and passed away in peace at 2pm on Friday the 15th September.

The Funeral, which many of her friends will be attending, is this Monday lunchtime.. (UK time)

the family have asked for only one floral tribute from the online reptile community.. so we, or rather Tanya (AKA UK Corn Fan Club) is having a 3ft by 2ft 3D cornsnake made from crysanthemums and lavender.. Janes favourite morph was the lavenders..

i don't know if any of you felt you knew her enough to want to donate anything but if you did.. its here... Janes Flowers

anything left over will go to a good cause chosen by her family.

last friday was an awful awful day.. most of the UK online community was in shock by close of play...

there are threads about it here

here

and there is on tanyas site too, but its down right now..

i wanted to post a pic of Jane.. its a cracker of a pic, showing her Judging at last years world premier Corn Snake Show (cornsnake crufts as i call it lol) but its on tanyas site, and i can't get at it... i will add it later sometime.

please keep Janes family in your thoughts and prayers this week and especially next monday...

:shrugs: life is pants at times... just not fair at all...

I'm so sorry for your loss. I don't think I knew her~ but I will most certainly keep her family and friends in my prayers this week.

I often wonder when we lose contact with someone we "know" online suddenly if something like this could be the cause. I'm so sorry to hear it.

What a shocking and tragic event.
Nigel told me about this a couple of days ago and allthough I do not even think ive spoken to her once the reptile community is so small and close that it has even effected me, who couldnt be effected by this.
My thoughts are with her family, have been there with family dieing under tragic circumstances I can sort of imagine what theyre thoughts are.
What has shocked me is how young she was, 46, truely shocking at the best of times but to happen to someone so young really is unjust.
God works in mysterious ways and its events like this that makes me question his true motives for this earths people.
best wishes to Jane's family and may she rest in piece.
:wavey:

My deepest sympathies to the family and everyone who knew her. To lose someone so fast with no warning is such a shock.

I think the cornsnake flower arrangement is a lovely and thoughtful idea. It's terrible to lose a member of such a close community and someone who obviously loved reptiles passionately. My thoughts are with her family.

This is so sad, I took a look at some of her posts and she was really nice and tried to help people. I am sad even though I didn't know her, this forum is like a family in a way to some of us. How tragic to lose someone so suddenly like that, she and her family will be in my prayers.

Sad to hear about this type of news.. Like an earlier poster said, we are like extended family here in a lot of way.. Some of us a little closer than others, but we are all family of our community.

Regards and Sympathy Tim and Jenn of T and J's Corns

My deepest sympathies. Although I didn't know her, she sounded like a very kind, caring and wonderful person that will be missed by many. What a great loss to her family, friends and the reptile community. My thoughts are with you and her family. The floral tribute is very thoughtful and beautiful!
