They are still not eating and my fav baby would have had to be the ones that wont eat. After all but 3 snakes sheded and I saw some sort of poop in the containers I got 10 pinky's. All but 3 ate them. SO I switched the pinky's out and gave them to another snake. Since then I weighted 3 days and then got the fun job of opening there containers and smelling something almost as strong as the smell of ammonia.
uke01: WOW! Last night I got 18 baby pinky's and some looked a little larger then I wanted as pinkeys but put one in each container. Today I have 8 pinky's still weighting to be eaten and the snakes are just not catching on. One of the 8 I am using as my test dummy.
And in the next 60 minutes I plan on taking him out of the small critter carrier that I switched him and the pinkie into. And plan on poking a hole into the pinky's head and placing them into a paper bag. For no less then 8 hours. If I can get this guy to eat then my favorite baby will have a chance.
By the way...
Is there a reason why most of the baby's brown patches look like they are broken up or smeared?
And when I say smeared, I don't mean striped I mean the smear is almost like the spackle on some homes ceilings. It is great all the way down there body's until you get half way and the 2 patches are like junkey smeared patches. Should I just give them away for $10 or is this something that can bring better offspring? when they get older?
