When I was a little'n me and my girlfriend and my younger brother would spend liturally all day at the swamp area close by collecting newts, examining them, talking about them, and then letting them go about 5mins later..
These where some of the best times of my life, we got full of muck all the time and we learned so much from the little newts and frogs..
We would even wait and watch frog spawn progress into hundreds of little frogs! :D

So today when I spoke to the owner of a petshop I just discovered "whos animals where EXTREAMLY well looked after" I just had to take 2 fire bellied newts home with me..

I have bought them a full set-up, including filter and they are cool little animals! this picture was taken as I was releasing them into there new home :)

They have the same colored bellies as fire bellied toads, lol.

Cute george, I'd like to see a pic of the set up!

Thank you :) We are going out shopping tomorrow so I can by more decor for the tank, i'll get some pictures then :) ATM it's pretty simple, filter, rocks, and a few small plants..

Ah muck memories....those are the best ones. My friend and I used to do the same thing. Spend hours covered in creek slime newts are so cool.
