World's largest hula hoop!!!

LOL guess it was just bad jerky then.

Ohhh don't forget about fresh funnel cakes and cotton candy guys! Mmmmm yummm.

Funnel cake?! It's the best thing in the world next to BBQ-Honey flavored potato chips!!!
Now I want to go down to the shore... :(

I'm hungry now.. yesterday I ate like a pound of Ceasar salad while reading this thread.. :shrugs:

Pork scratchings! I only get them occasionally, but then am forced to share them with Ellie. I try not to think about what they're made of, I think it's deep fried porkrind, heavily salted

I tell the kids that they're pigs toenails :dgrin: .. hope i didn't put you off your scratchings :grin01:

but seriously British snacks are unbeatable

BTW You missed baked bean and roast chicken from the hula-hoop flavours :sidestep:

Someone mentioned "Cotton Candy"

Not sure about the rest of Britain but where I'm from it's "Candy Floss" which is funny 'cos we don't say candy, it's sweets

Do you have McCoys over there in America?

I can't imagine ANYONE surviving without McCoys

Connor

No McCoys specifically, but crinkle cut chips are faily commonplace.

In Canada we have Miss Vickies Salt & Malt chips that are the bomb. I'm from Newfoundland (the closest you can get to 'old world' in North America) so it's fairly common to see British-style snackfoods.

How could i miss baked bean hula hoops, that flavour is delicious. They also have the new ones now, that are made with a different kind corn, i dont like them though. Tastes more like a cereal that crisps.

And mcCoys are one of the tastiest snacks on the planet.

Beef jerky rocks! We have tons of other snack meat stuff that's even better. Jack Link's makes all sorts of great "meat in a plastic bag" snacks. There's Signature Marinades Prime Cuts, Chicken Fajita, Tender Strips in a few flavors, beefsteak strips, and their jerky's good too (not too leathery, LOL). I don't know if you have Slim Jims in the UK, but they're nasty... Jack Link's products and Dr. Pepper make up at least 60% of my caloric intake. :grin01:

I'm not a big candy person, but I do envy the Brits for their Flake bars (all flavors). :spinner:

This right here be the best Beef Jerky available commercially, period.

I still think Jerky is something a cobbler should be using...LOL
We have a saying in Wales for the ingredients of 'MEAT' snacks...We call them eyelids and ********s...Because thats the bits of the animal that gets used..ugggggg

true jerky should be a thin piece of lean muscle meat that has been seasoned then dried. There should never be mystery meat in jerky, I wonder what exactly it was you were fed.
