Yellow Blizzard ???

I am curious if anyone can help me out with what I have. It was sold to me as a blizzard however upon closer inspection I noticed faint yellow saddle outlines that are becoming more evident with each shed. Being unfamiliar with corns generally I would like to know if this is normal or if it is a mix of morphs, either way she is a great animal that is here to stay.

Blizzards are normally patternless. but, I have noticed a few that you can see saddles on. some are pink, some are a very light lime green. but I have yet to see yellow. Is there a way that you can post some pictures for us to see?

I sure can post a pic, if you can guide me as to how. I can get the pics onto my computer but dont know how to post them from there.

You have to have the picture on a website somewhere for it to be shown here.. a really good photo shareing place is Fotki. They can sort of walk you through how to upload pictures, and once you do, all you need is the URL or web address (http://www.....) to post it here.. PM me if you need any help! :)

You can use pictures off of your computer. Just scroll down in a reply till you see the manage attachments box, click on it and upload your pics. They have to be 800x600 pixels or less.

Yellow pattern in saddles and on the chin is not uncommon in blizzards as they mature. Some are even marketed as 'lemon peel blizzards'! Some lines have the yellow saddle borders bred out, but it is a selective process and many still show yellow.

This guy was pure white, classic blizzard til 7 months or so of age but has been developing more yellow ever since. This pic is at about 3 years of age

I kind of like the yellow infusion - adds some drama to them,

my girl was patternless til about 5 months old, then the yellow started to come in. she's 10 months now.

Or you could do that.. lol.. I guess I should look around more.. it may pay off to have your photo's posted somewhere on the web that allows free access by everyone (or just who you pick) and free picture hosting in general though, just so you don't have to upload everytime and you can send a link instead of a whole pic. file.. just my opinion though :)

BTW, those blizzards are sooo beautiful.. ~aches with envy..~ Here I am, spending oodles of money (for me) on corns, and I still havn't gotten a "little 'ol" blizzard.. once we recover from these last expenses, I think I'm going to treat myself.. though I think it'll be to a charcoal.. I'd rather see them hatch out than just get one.. :)

OK, finally I got the camera to work (helps with new batteries). Here is my yellowing blizzard aswell as my snow that is a apricot colour. Sorry the pics are not to great.

Your sure thats not a Snow?? I am not saying it is not a blizzard, but I would be thinking more along a Snow if there are saddles.. Or am I way off base??

you could be correct, thats why I started this thread to find out. The first and third pic are of the "blizzard" the second (middle) pic is my snow that is a peach colour.

Those outside pics are nice, but they don't show a clear dorsal shot, and there's really too much shade to see much.

Do you have a clear dorsal shot of the snake?

I also saw that you have 1.2 snows? Have you bred this female/male with the other snow(s)?

This is the best I can get for now, it is still hot outside and she won't stay still.

As for them being bred, no, I have her and one other female that will be ready next season and a male hatchling (obviously not ready next season).

Thanks Joe, the yellow is very pale and don't really show up inside but are quite noticable outside which is why I took the pics there.
