Yellow Snow

PtDnsr

I like calculus
Now quit thinking of winter and outside animals. These are two snows that I have...one I got from another breeder (the male) and the other I bred myself (the female). The girl, Shimmer, is the product of my Sunglow girl and my Sunglow Motley boy who were both apparently het anery. Not sure what's going on with these guys but the coloring on them is amazing. The first two are Shimmer and the second two are Snowball.

Hehe...I know the pics aren't that good but these guys are crazy in person. They have so much yellow on them. Planning to breed them to see what happens.

dumb question, is the yellow part a good thing? Remi is almost a year and she's turning yellow

It depends on what you like. Most snows have a little yellow but not a ton. My dad has one that's an adult and still pink and white like a baby. I've never seen snows with this amount of color on them. It's insane. Some snows are bred for colors (think bubblegum snows) so that's what I'm going to try to do with these guys.

Ok...showing my ignorance but I don't get it (maybe I can blame the time and my linear algebra I was doing earlier).

Frank Zappa has a song called "Don't eat the yellow snow"

And in the song it says,"Watch out where the huskies go, and don't you eat that yellow snow"

That is what we were refering to. lol

Gotcha...maybe if I had known that I wouldn't have let my husband name the male Snowball
