Went to feed my girl at 5am her first fuzzie also defrosted two pinkies incase she didn't like the fuzzie. Oh and she must have shed some time yesterday see pick but i cant remember her eyes being cloudy (she ate on friday last time i checked) any how i went in there with the margerine lid with the 2 pinkies and one fuzzie, lifted up her log and she was giving me the usuall (And what!) look she gives, i dangeled the fuzzie by the tail i can tell you i think i heard a sonic boomb. I swer my girl has never moved so fast in the time i have fed her, she's usually running on Jamaican time. I was totally shocked she wrapped herself around that fuz so fast, it was out of this world. I figured i'd leave her to it and closed the viv forgetting about the two pinkies on the lid (my bag!) went back the fuz was gone and so where the two pinkies. She must have been really hungrey or just really greedy witch i doubt as i have had to change pinkies on occasion and replace with a different one as she just didn't want the first one (always chuked refuesls them in the bin). SO does any one elses corn get the munchies after a shed, this is my first corn and it's the first time she has shed since i've had her. see pic thanks chaps

Oh yea... You'd think I starved mine the way they act after they shed. My boy tonight snatched and coiled both of his pinkies. I think he thought I was going to take them away. :D

So it's normal than, so do i have to feed her extra after a shed, and maybe hire a couple of gladiators to cover me

I love it when they coil, I think it's cute. I tong feed, and when they strike so fast I tend to jump with makes them all the more eager to subdue their prey. lol

I have one girl who usually loves to play with her food, it takes her forever to decide if she wants to eat it or not, and will rub all over it before she finally strikes. The first meal after a shed she's all business though; can't get that mouse down fast enough.

Haha my girl does the same thing :D Most of the time she's pushing the pinkie around with her nose and just sniffing at it and then she attacks it from the mid section of the mouse, and tries to eat it like that. But it doesn't take her long to find the "right end"

Well, the only thing I can think of is that snakes are very opportunistic feeders that will eat as much as they possibly can, because they don't know when their next meal will be in the wild. I would definitely keep an eye out for a regurge if I were you. (If they're fed too much, they may regurge.)
I haven't noticed my snakes being any more or less hungry after a shed. I would recommend you feed her the normal amount of food (one fuzzy) on a schedule. (With fuzzies, I feed every 6 to 7 days. I've heard of some people feeding every 5 days, which I wouldn't recommend.)

Since my girl ate her first fuzz as well as the two pinkies how much food should i give her, also do i need to take the tale off the fuzzies as the last one broke off when i took it out the bag to defrost.

You should just give her one fuzzy at her next feeding. And no, you don't need to break off the tail. :)

I don't mean to completely change the subject of the thread, but you should watch My Name Is Bruce if you haven't already.
It's so wonderfully amazing.

I've searched on Veoh, movieplex, and zshare. seen the clips i want it so bad, guess i'm gonna have to go to the shops, doh!

My adult corns always act like they haven't eaten in months after a shed! We tong feed them as well(have to do the Zombie Dance or they just won't eat it!). They always snatch it from us really quick but then drop it and rub it and love it before they eat it.
