Looking at the motley,...I, too, have to ask. Is it not outside the realm of possibility that there may be diffusion in the family tree?
Both hypos with unknown hets. The male has always been a question. I believe he is a hypo blood, but he has belly checks. Some on this site say he is just a normal, I dont think so. Here is a picture of them(male on top), let me know what you think.
I would deffinitely say that male is at the very least het diffused. I think I read somewhere that some diffused have scattered checks or large freckles on the belly? I will recheck my source and get back to you. If I remember correctly I will tell you exactly where I found the info.
If these babies are from that pair, then one parent is a normal. You would not get normal babies from two hypo parents. Although, it does prove that both parents carry the motley gene. That motley is a normal motley het hypo, hence the lighter color. Motley alters the colors in various degrees just by it self. Then you add a gene such as hypo and it can really change things. So what you have is a clutch of pretty normals all het hypo ph motley. They are beautiful babies though. Congrats!
