YOLANDA IS HOME !!!!!!

Squeaker

My--YoYo
As you all know, my sweet Yolanda got out over a week ago. I finally gave up, after tearing this house apart (literally) and then realizing that I would see her, when I see her, if she was meant to be. Well, long story short, I was getting my carpets cleaned yesterday so I dragged some boxes that had been in my bar area, out onto the front porch. I then took some lamps etc. out there so they would be out of the way for the cleaning guy. He was about 1/2 hour into the cleaning when he yells out, you have a snake coming in through your doggie door. I came flying into the room and sure as heck, there Yolanda was, coming in the doggie door that I have in the screen on the porch. She musta been in one of the boxes, although I had checked them out earlier. I told the guy, "Grab her". He did and I am so freaking happy. She was so cold and so hungry and so happy to be with me. They say that snakes dont "think". Well, I do. She came to the doggie door and came back into the warm house and where she belongs. When I picked her up, she wrapped herself around my neck and kept looking at me and flicking her tongue, like where have you been Mom? I am sooooooo happy

I'm very happy to hear that she is safe and sound at home one again! :D
I'm really glad that you got her back! :D

HOORAY!!! I just love hearing the news when lost snakes return. Pretty clever girl to figure out the doggie door. And it's so sweet when you know they recognize and appreciate you. Congratulations!
