Call for Photos! Right now, the Madison Area Herpetological Society is working on a few things for publication. One is a reptile buyer's guide. Basically a step by step book to choosing the right pet for you, and what makes each one easier or more difficult and why. It's not a care guide but a quick and dirty guide to hundreds of the most common species in the hobby. We are nearly ready to get this thing done but I need YOUR HELP!! Below is a list of animals that we need pictures of still. If you have some good pictures of any of these animals, I would love to put them in this book. You will get full credit for your photo, so send me as many pictures as you want, along with an explanation giving MAHS permission to use them. Thanks so much, feel free to ask me any questions!

I have some pictures of our Mandarins, I'll have to look through them and see which are the best pictures. Would you prefer several pictures to chose from?

I've got some Baird's photos. They are "tub shots" - are you looking for more naturalistic photos, or are those okay?

Kathy

I have a pair of rhino rats but they are LTCs with scars. Sonja K on iherp.com has some beautiful adults and babies

Thanks - I'll send what I have. I can try to get some better ones, but I like to take photos outdoors, and it's still too cold here in Michigan!
