Your thoughts please

5 Star Serpents

Ryan and Terri
We recently changed the look of our business cards and got an actual logo made up for our business. I'd love to hear anyone's thoughts on the look. Love it? Hate it? What would you change? I won't take offense to anything, we all have our own preferences :) I'd also be curious to find out what others use as promotional items/tools, and how important you feel "branding" is. Does everything that leaves your table have your name on it for the rest of the world to see? What to you makes an impression when see it, what do you remember most? What do you like to see as a customer? For anyone who doesn't know me (and many don't) I love to talk, I enjoy sharing my love and passion for the animals and I will take as much time as someone needs for questions and general chit chat, I love what I do!

The "preferred customer" deal is on the back of the regular business cards, as soon as someone purchases an animal and would be interested in getting in on it, their name will be printed on the card by one of us, they will also be given one of the "conditions" cards stapled to their invoice/care sheet/etc. and the circles will have to be initialed by one of us when they purchase a snake.
Included in the photo are a pen (obviously), magnet, back and front of business card, conditions card and labels to go on the deli cups before the animal leaves our table.

EDIT: If anyone is interested I can type up the "special" and the conditions as I realize its not easy to read on here

I really like it!
The only thing that might be an issue is people may think your name is five serpents, by-passing the star as part of the name. But I see you have the whole name on the back of the card so hopefully that should help keep things clear. When I did a search for five serpents corn snakes your care sheet did come up. Do you have your website or email address on the front of the card? I can't read all the little stuff.

The email is on the back (the front says "Quality Hand Selected COlubrids"), we are working on a more professional website so once that's up and going then we will reprint everything :)

I do like the simplicity of it (I favor simple vs extravagance in business cards). When you get the website, you could put a QR code on the back, so people can use their smart phones to access the page quickly (I would also list the website as well for those who don't have a smart phone or want to use their computer << don't know if computers can read QR codes).
