Zig Zag and Aztec the same thing?

Hi, I have what was sold to me as a pet a "zig Zag ghost"..looking on Ian's Vivarium it seems like the terms zig zag and Aztec are interchangeable for when the saddles are split and misaligned down the spine. Is this an example of the industry not being in agreement, a European vs American thing, or is there some difference that I'm not clear on? My corn snakes are pets, I won't breed them, but I enjoy showing them off and bragging on them...I like saying "Aztec Ghost"...seems more mysterious. :)

They are basically the same thing. The only difference is in the pattern itself. If it is mostly connected, looking like a zipper, it is called zigzag, but if the pattern is all broken up and "shattered", it is called an aztec.

Thanks Susan, my Ghost is a zig zag then, her pattern is connected looking like dozens of little triangles touching tip to tip.
