I found these online tonight, most I had found were $3-4/pair. These are only $1.50/pair, I bought 20 of them.

i've used those and they work pretty well. I prefer the ones for 40 gal tanks after I bend them a little. they're a little stronger.
 
How do they differ from these? I saw some other shaped ones but couldn't for the life of me visually get how they would work.

I have a few of these I put on my newest guy (Mexican King Snake! Yay! Look at me all branching away from corns!) and they seem to work really well, I was not really wanting to spend $100 on clips for all the tanks so this helps a lot especially with the escapes happening lately. I bought that Velcro so by god I will use it, but I will also incorporate these clips.

Just wanted to share the bargains on necessities!
