Pink Snow in Florida!

CaptBogart

False Prophet
The sun was a little overcast, and we're hitting mid 70's, so I took one of the Snows out for some pics in the banana plant and avocado tree. I was never really into Snows until I got a few, now I just love them. This girl is from a pair I got from Brent, (DrizzT80), and their coloration puts my Opal to shame, which I'm attributing to Lava! They are possibly Lava Snows, so there will be some test breedings in the future to prove that out.

Alyeska, 0.1 '08 possible Lava Snow...

So what do you think? Lava influence, or just a nice Coral?

Thanks for looking! :dancer:

Very lovely! I don't know enough about genetics to answer your question though. If I had a snake that pink I would want to name it Amoxicillin, after that pink stuff I took so much of as a child for ear infections. You could call it Moxie for short...yes, I'm aware of how strange I am.

Anyway, nice snake!

Lol, Actually the Snows are named after ski resorts/lodges... Alyeska, Okeemo, Vail...

Very nice corn you got

Thanks, her future mate is just as nice, but with more peach than pink.

Wow that is one of the nicest snows i've seen!! I love the pink more over most snows with the yellow coloration. :D

Me too! I don't like yellow snakes, so have been lucky that I don't have any yellow snow... :grin01:

Pink snow in Floriduh! .........:grin01:

Lol, yeah, it's the only Snow we'll see around here. I'd love to see what they'd produce when matched up with your Coral line, now those would be hot!...

Oh man, mid 70s? We could use some of that heat up here! Alyeska looks like she's enjoying it at least :). She's beautiful, and definitely very pink. Hope she proves out for you!

I am generally not into white snakes, but she has such lovely subtle pearlescent pink tones. Beautiful.

Thanks, yeah I tell people we still have winter down here, just not all at once. We'll be in the 70's for a few days, then 60's, then back up into the 80's... :D

That's the same for me! That's why I avoided Snow's and Blizzards for a long time, but then I needed the genes from a couple Snows and ended up hooked, lol.

I love it, whatever it is!

Lol, me too...

I really wish they are lava snows Joe! You'll have a great time proving them out!

That's what I was thinking, plus I don't have Amel in any of my Lava lines, so they're pretty cool snakes to use in a Lavamel project, then just using Amels.

Love snows, she's beautiful.

Thanks, Brent, (DrizzT80), might produce more next year, and if not, I know a couple other breeders that may, so if you're interested keep an eye out.

That's my kind of winter. It definitely beats slogging to work through piles of slushy, gray snow. :grin01:
