Anyone from Northern Arizona?

Anyone on here from Northern Arizona? I plan on making a few trips out west snake hunting this year and decided to herp a new part of the state that I've never herped before. I was planning on trying my luck around Paige, AZ. Looking for info on good roads to cruise, camping spots, etc.

Thanks,
Graham

I love the mountain ranges of the southeast also- green rats are VERY cool animals. I was looking for LEGAL Grand Canyon Rattlers- there are a few roads OUTSIDE the park bounderies where it's legal to hunt with a valid hunting license... I bought multiple maps of that area and found roads I THINK should eb good...but kinda wanted to talk to someone who's herped the area.

I still need to collect a nice pair of AZ Black Rattlers and some tigers from down south....

Try here for herping tips!
AHA
But be prepared for general stuff (they won't give specific locales due to poaching), and don't forget to buy a hunting license, AZG&F are tricky fish who WILL try and catch you doing something you might not even know you're not supposed to be!

Thanks- Yep, I've seen that website many times...good info. I have localities for everything- was just looking for good roads (low traffic...good habitat) through those localities. I don't take any chances and ALWAYS get my out-of-state hunting license.. I hunt AZ almost every year (but usually down in the southeast corner)...just wanted to try a new area this year!

They'll be rightfully suspicious of you if you come in outta nowhere asking for specific roads, but make it clear you don't mean to clear out the entire population or desecrate the original environment and someone should open up or at least offer to go with you. They're good people.
