2007 Amel Stripe Male Proven Breeder

Kind of Corny

This is nice bright orange 2007 amel / sunglow striped male. As pretty as he is, I was laying out my breeding plans for next season and realized that I have four other big males with both amel, stripe and additional other genes to use for breeding, so I have decided to let this guy go. I did prove him as a breeder this year, and he produced really pretty babies, like the this keeper daughter I have posted a picture of below. Anyway, one of his mates was a snow het stripe, and they had all amel stripes and amels, so I am pretty confident he is not het for anery A. He is nice and mellow and eats frozen thawed mice or rat fuzzies.

I am asking $125 plus shipping, which is a flat rate of $45 to most locations. I do offer shipping discounts within Oregon, since it is way cheaper for me to ship within my own state. I am a certified FedEx reptile shipper and ship within the continental USA only. PM with any questions.

You know, I could easily fill up my household with striped and motley amels (1.1 stripes & 1.2 motleys). Wait! I DID! Dang. I knew there was a reason I couldn't get this beauty :). Ah, to have unlimited room and resources. I'll bet you find him a home soon, 'cause he's gorgeous!

If you decide to let that female go let me know. ;)

Sorry, but all of his striped daughters are staying with me. The only one of his kids left for sale is this amel het anery stripe female, which is a full sister to the striped one in the picture. $35.

Thanks! Isn't it just way too easy to fill up your household with corn snakes?

Wendy, what is his temperament like? I have the world's most tame amel. Think, as mellow and calm as a BP. I am looking (1) to sex this paragon of sweetness and (2) find a mate of equal calm, sweet temperament. If these bright beautiful snakes of yours are really mellow, I may have found the necessary genetics!

Oh man if only he was a female, I could use him to test breed my ??? Mot, which should be a Butter Motley, but what I suspect is an Amel Motley het Caramel.. or something else entirely.

Those are great snakes!

They are very mellow and easy to handle for corn snakes but still a bit more active than a typical ball python.

Can you keep your eyes out for a super sweet slug of a cornsnake?

Edit: preferably amel or het amel or something that I won't get all normals?

Betsy, I still have yet to find a sluggish corn snake you can cuddle with like a ball python. Maybe you need to get an albino ball python. A lot of nice ball python morphs are getting more affordable now, and I am finding them to be almost as addictive as corn snakes.

Price reduced!

I really thought this bright pretty boy would sell faster. Anyway I have reduced the price to $110 now, and shipping is only $35 if you are willing to pick up the package at your local FedEx staffed express ship center. I also offer a further shipping discount if you live in Oregon, where it's cheaper for me to ship.

Wendy -- your killing me. He's very pretty -- I have a female that looks just like him. Hmmm - what can I move out of my room.
