Kingsnake Question

I found a nice pet store about an hours drive away from where I live. All their animals seem in good health and have nicely decorated tanks. I've started going there to get my frozen mice because they have a better variety and the mice look much better in general.

Anyway, they have a rather bid adult snake that when I first looked at it I thought was a milk snake. But the label on it said kingsnake. So my question about kingsnakes is:

Is there any kind of kingsnake that looks like a Peruvian milk snake?

Sorry if my question seems dumb but I'm not really familiar with kingsnake morphs and whatnot.
 
Lampropeltis is the genus for kingsnakes. Milksnakes are Lampropeltis triangulum. Milksnakes are, technically, kingsnakes. It's not uncommon for stores to oput their "best guess" as a label. If it is labled simply as "kingsnake", it could be any number of tri-colored milk and king snakes in the genus Lampropeltis.

Get a picture. Someone *should* be able to give a fairly positive ID...
 
Oh I'm not going to buy him I was just curious what he was.

Also with kings and milks isn't that like saying all corn snakes are rat snakes but not all rat snakes are corn snakes? Am I understanding it right?

Pretty much. All milks are kings, but not all kings are milks.
