Jessicat
All Pied Everything
I've explained his weird genetics before, but I saw someone who had a similar problem/ mystery so I'll explain them again.
Copperhead came from two virgin Butter Motleys. The whole clutch looked like Butter Motleys except for him.. he looked like an amel!
It was an extremely weird occurrence, and considering that it was the parent's first time breeding, it couldn't have been retained sperm. I've always wondered what he is and at one point I had a Caramel Motley female that I was going to test breed him to. Unfortunately that didn't pan out, and I no longer have the Caramel Mot.
My revised plans for him are a female Hypo het Amel and Caramel. Hopefully that will give me some clue as to his genetics?
Anyhow,
He shed a few days ago! Here's his glorious photo shoot today!
I love this boy, cause I can place him somewhere and he's SUCH a good little poser. He was made to be a model
He's a little more exploratory in the trees.
Here are some attempts at full body shots in the tree
Oh, and one last one, here's a picture of him back in '07 as a hatchling.
Thanks for checking him out! If anyone has any guesses or suggestions for future breeding plans, feel free to share! Thanks!!
