Well... I've been trying to mainly use this site for research purposes, but finally am caving in and posting pictures of my little anery. What happened was, well... he shed... and now Lestat looking even more handsome! I must say... the first pic is my personal favourite of him that I have so far :) I just LOVE his pink cheeks (a little hard to see in the pic)

Thank you! I can't wait until he's full grown haha I'm thinking about updating this thread after each shed (if I remember) so then it will be like a progression thread of his growth. I think that would be cool.

I would love for you to do that! I will make sure to stay subscribed to this thread.

Nice shots and nice name! I used to kind of roll my eyes a bit at the over abundance of pet Lestats (of any animal), but now I'm just happy to see a snake named after a real vampire.

Nosferatu next!!

nice corn!,
but am i seeing a ghost or an anery ?
looks like a ghost (anery.a X hypo.a) to me,or maybe it's my puter?lol
nice & clean looking too!:D

I thought a vampire named seemed fitting for a snake, but little did I know I was buying the sweetest most gentle snake ever! haha the name definitely doesn't fit him! But, he's my little Lestat anyway!

I honestly think he might be a ghost. But, I know nothing about morphs haha petsmart said he was an anery... but... thats petsmart... not exactly snake experts haha he's just so very very light in colour. When I do a Google Image search of anery and a search of ghosts, he looks like the ghost corns to me. These pictures actually make him look darker than he really is.

I would love for you to do that! I will make sure to stay subscribed to this thread.

AWESOME!

Warning: long and picture heavy post hahaha

Well its that time again  Lestat shed 3 days ago and I just now got around to charging the camera and taking some photos haha He's lightening up some and actually getting some hazelnut/caramel kind of tint to him. I think its pretty  he still has his pink cheeks and pink on his forehead, but for some reason my camera refuses to pick those up in photos. sorry all these photos are "in my hand" photos lol The lighting in his viv is terrible for photos and I don't really have anything to set him on to take his pic haha maybe one day I'll get a pretty piece of cloth or something for his "photoshoots" lol

Photo 1: you can really start to see that lovely hazelnut/caramel tint. I really hope it continues to develop, but we'll see

Photo 2: not much different... just was trying to get his pretty tint to show up in the photo (my camera isn't very good lol)

And now... Photo 3!!!!!!! I'm pretty excited about this one as it was a purely LUCKY shot, in my opinion haha I just wish he was on like a black background or something and not my hand! haha

Ahhh I LOVE that photo ^ haha but anyway... I thought this might be kind of fun to show how much Lestat has grown. Here is a side by side from a few days after I got him compared to today.

12 July 2011 on top -- 19 August 2011 on bottom -- ahh look at all those extra coils now x] it also gives a good look at how his colour has changed over the last month or so

Thank you! I was just taking constant pictures and was really surprised to see that picture in there when I looked back through them haha I feel pretty lucky to have gotten that shot =]

Update: well, he has been popped as female :nyah: (I suspected female after a few weeks due to the tail structure (yes, I know this isn't accurate)) so needless to say I got curious and had "him" popped. I'm not breeding snakes, so it doesn't really matter, but I started wondering if he was actually a she lol and it turns out "he" is... so... now I have to think of a girl name haha so please, while reading earlier posts of mine, replace "he/him/his/etc" with "she/her/etc" hahaha :p:p:p (oh and yes, I know the only "full-proof" sexing is to breed, but since this is just a pet snake, I'm settling on popping)

Correct me if im wrong but Sonya kinda looks like a ghost tom me... none of my anerys were that brown when young

Yes, she is a ghost =] I labeled her as an Anery at the beginning of the post because that's what she was sold to me as, but after a discussion with another member on here and research on google, came to the conclusion that she is a ghost =] you are correct =]

Shes absolutly stunning, and exelent pictures, i love the shot where she is curled up in your hand, and that tongue flick is also a rare picture,

Treasure her.

I know I take an insane amount of pictures of this little girl, but I just can't help it! haha I <3 her! Ok, so she's in blue again lol She's been shedding regularly about every 3 weeks or so, which I've read is perfectly normal for a growing baby. I just had to snap a few "in blue" photos. Couldn't resist! What's terrible is that corn snakes are becoming an addiction hahaha I want another one! hahaha
