You're supposed to see that I saw it in the morning- I don't know when he posted it. I was initially concerned (see my PM) but then decided it technically didn't break any rules. Some time later, a different mod came along and interpreted the rules differently. And sent Lavender a PM and deleted the post.

What truth is being hidden??
 
I only reposted it to prove my point. It was deleted after the fact that I asked about it. Not before like the mod has lied and tried to say. She got busted covering up stuff.

This is the SECOND time you've accused Nanci of lying. Be glad we are not face to face, as she is a personal friend of mine.
 
Are you saying I lied? You mentioning it may have called someone else's attention to it, but I did not delete that post and I have not lied about anything here. Perhaps you are speaking of someone else?

Or maybe it was all a huge coincidence, and the mod that deleted the post just happened to see it after your mention of it. There's enough clean-up to do around here without having to go out looking for stuff. So unless a post gets reported, a mod or Rich may or may not even see it, and then may or may not feel like it is something that requires action.

Nanci, he called you a liar twice. He earlier stated that you lied over the cost of running this forum, and now he's called you a liar about deleting that post. I would be messaging Rich right now, if he were here.

I think you should PM Rich and ask him what the forums cost annually. Then I can more accurately portray the cost. Because I really don't have a freaking clue what it costs. So sue me. But I know it costs enough that without support by advertising and paid memberships it isn't such a drop in the bucket that a retired person could afford to do it just for the "fun" of it.

And I do know that many times per year the servers require "stuff," and the, um, what do you call the whole platform that the forum is based on, requires an IT person to maintain, add, remove various features.

So I suppose someone, like Young David for example, could set up a primitive forum from his PC at home, and the cost might be minimal, but I doubt someone who has built an empire with the largest herp forums out there is maintaining them for cheap.
 
Actually young David and I are on the side lines eating popcorn and drinking soda laughing our butts off at this!!!

So how about we all start again... Nanci put your hat back on..... The new guy's.... Well we all got the rules now.... And for a little more than contributor you can have free reign ... Not a bad deal from where I'm sat... 3000 mile away and not ever sold many over there... BTW I don't even do corns... So something must be attracting me.... LOL

I also check to see if it was still there after my membersship was apporved and it was. So I asked to see what ya'll would do. You did exactly what I thought you would. You tried to hide the truth. I don't blame you of course. Because you should hide this. Give Lavendar a chance. He's given more back to this hobby than he will ever get back. Unlike some I could mention but I won't.

There really is no cover up here.
You have 3 different mods who each have a life outside this forum
They don't read every single post.
Unless something gets reported they may never see it.
You have one mod that read it and thought it might just slip by. (Nanci)
Then you have another mod who saw it and deleted it, because the post stated that if the tesseras were not sold by the show, they would be here. The implication was that they would be there for sale. So Susan deleted it when she saw it this morning.
The mods have full time jobs that earn them a living, and Susan has kids, they can't be here 24/7.
Nothing was covered up and there was no truth to hide.

You really owe some people around here apologies....

I think you're off by a day. The "see you at the show" post was removed Friday. It was discussed at length afterwards by management. I know it was Friday because I was at work.

Why exactly do you care so much that you had to, what, make a screen capture of it? What's it to you??

No one said the post was not deleted.

Do you even know Lavender? This whole obsession with him seems kind of creepy to me, actually.

Here's the problem with what you are saying. Nobody is covering up anything. You saw it yesterday and today, Nanci (mod. 1) saw the thread and didn't think the rules were broken. Today a second mod. saw the thread and concluded that the rules were broken and took down the thread. See, nothing is covered up.
Lavender expressed in his own way that the rules about selling snakes without being a paying member weren't clear and by doing this in his way he pissed some people off.
When almost solved you came here and started stirring things up again, pissing more people off. You made false statements and somehow still don't understand there is no conspiracy.
