My story isn't very exciting. My horrible boyfriend in college got me addicted to this horrible game called EverQuest. Khena was my high elf wizard, my first character ever, and the name has been with me in every mmo I've played since, and every internet account I've opened. My alter ego I guess.

I married the horrible boyfriend, but we have since retired from online games. Unless Minecraft counts I guess.

I picked the name Dreamsnake because my husband took Denizen first. It has been well over a year since he has logged in. Denizen was the name I chose for a snake when I was a child, but I never got a snake until I turned 28. I've dreamed of keeping snakes my entire life so my online name fits my obsession. Now I am infatuated with one particular morph and only that one morph will do. They say never stop dreaming.
 
My users name is my sisters name.She passed away from breast cancer a few years back and this is my way of just keeping her alive in my heart.
 
My username is my nickname in day to day life, Hilly or Hillybean..

I got the nickname from my brother growing up, due to being so short. I'm the shortest person in my family (4ft 8inches). I also use it on other forums, and normally have hilly in my signatures or sign my replies with it. I chose Hilary (my name) for my signature on here.

Simple and boring :)
 
I was wondering if there was a thread like this on the forum, so I figured I'd search.

My user name comes from back when I used to play EverQuest. I played a Froglok Shaman in a raiding guild that spent 40+ hours a week raiding, talk about a time sink. When I named my character and had decided to name it after the Indian Python named Kaa from The Jungle Book. At the time I didn't know the actual spelling, which over the years I have seen Khaa and Kaa used, so I took my best guess. Since then, considering I spent around 10 years playing EverQuest, the name has stuck with me. I actually still get frog related knickknacks and stuffed animals as gifts because of my characters race in the game.
