i may be transferring schools, i want to be the quiet kid, not loud, but this is at the semester which is like january 18. any tips on how to be quiet.

Well, I don't see how you could make any noise if you keep your mouth shut and don't eat beans.

Or, you could be yourself.

I guess if you took a genuine interest in what you were being taught, then being quiet should happen all by itself. Usually it's when you're uninterested that you're even tempted to focus on other things (like talking).

If you're not by nature "the quiet kid", then I think it would be hard to become one. I'd say go for something in between. be yourself, but try to tone it down a bit. You'll have to concentrate on that in the beginning if you're used to being loud, but it'll get easier.

i love u guys xD my mouth is always flapping, like nonstop i figured id get answers like this like fatman's haha.

Yeah, if its not in you to be the quiet type..then it most likely won't happen ;). Can't be something your not, but you can always work on the volume :) .

If you can do it, bring some sudoku or crossword puzzles to do in class. It keeps me sane through all my econ/management courses.

Granted, only do it if you can still pay attention and get good grades.
