• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

I'm leaveing the forum.

I didn't read all the posts but apparently you decided to stay so that is great! But I wanted to let you know that you aren't the only one on here that has some "problems". I have Aspergers and I know at least one other person on here that does also. I wouldn't have guessed you had any issues from your posts. You type very well. There are some adults I know who do not spell or type as well as you. So if you hadn't said anything I wouldn't have had a second thought as to if you were normal or not.

P.s.
I don't like using the word normal to describe people without "problems" because that makes me feel like I am something other. Like I don't belong in society. You know what I mean?

Thanks I really appreciate that means alot too me. :)

I'm glad you decided to stay. I have severe PTSD and sometimes the snarkiness and rude responses get to me here, too. But at the end of the day, I just remember that most of the people on this forum are sweet and helpful and experienced, and they also have tons of snakes at home and that is not really considered "normal" by any means, and most of us devote our lives to learning more about snakes and being the best owners we can be, and that is not really all that "normal" either. And did I mention the crafting?? How many "normal" people would spend all day building hides out of random objects or putting light boxes together for the sole purpose of getting pretty pictures? "Normal" is subjective, and in my opinion, IT'S ALSO NO FUN AT ALL :)
That's kind of why I like reptile people to begin with, you know? They're just as weird as me.
I'm really glad you decided to stay!
