Hi,

My name is Marie, and I don't have any reptiles at the moment. I have had some in the past however. I had a Jackson's chameleon, and a bearded dragon. However, when my ex husband and I got divorced he gave them away on me. To say that I was devastated is an understatement :(

A while later, I rescued what I believe was an okeetee from a nasty pet store. It was bitten by a rat, and had huge rotting blisters. After a trip to the vet and treatment, the poor thing didn't make it. I've been so sad that I haven't gotten another snake.

My best friend has ten snakes in all, boas and ball morphs mostly. I think she has two king snakes too. I know she has a spider ball, a few normal balls, and a Red tail boa.

I just found out that she is getting a Butter Corn from her breeder, and giving him to me for my birthday :) I thought I should check out a forum that's dedicated to these beauties...

Thank you, but I've been taking care of reptiles for a long time. I used to work at a pet store, and I have pets it other friends reptiles as well. Corns are easy to take care of :)

It was on the first of August. She baby actually hatched that day, they are just waiting til its had a few feedings before giving it to me :)
 
Wow! That's amazing, to share a birthday. Prepare to have a camera on hand, because people will want pics!
 
Welcome Marie! I second Janine's post about checking out the stickied threads. Lots of good info! :)

Be sure to post lots of pics when you get your first snake! (It likely won't stay "just one" for long....they're addicting LOL)

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding, I thought the rescue was the only snake you'd had.
