Can I double up on peach fuzzies?

So Severus is about 41g. I had bought a bag of small/peach fuzzies at the last reptile show and don't want them to go to waste. I know you can double up on pinkies, but can the same be done for small fuzzies? Could I start with a bump up to 1 1/2?

I think you can. From what I gathered (of what I've been told), when it looks like the snake is ready to up in size, you can try & double up... I could be wrong though.

How often are you feeding him? I'd be leery of doing it. I'd rather use them up by feeding every five days, starting with the smallest ones. He doesn't really need to be on hoppers until he's over 50 grams anyway. (But this is right where their weight really takes off, too).

Right now I usually feed him about every 6-7 days. He's almost 8 months old. I always kept reading about how the medusa feeding plan is a bit aggressive, so I try to take it a little easier with him as I don't want to stress his body.

I just wasn't sure if I needed to increase it a little since they were labeled as small fuzzies and not regular fuzzies and I saw that at his weight he should be on regulars.

And you aren't kidding about the weight taking off! This last feeding I felt bad since I forgot he was due to eat last weekend and it was 8 days in between (it was also my work weekend and I was working 3 12's in a row, so it just slipped my mind). Anyway, he still put on 3 grams!

@Nanci And thank you! I'll weigh the fuzzies and separate them and move his feedings up to every 5 days since he's on the smaller ones.

I did it for my rat for a few feedings (spaced every 6-7 days) until I bought some hoppers and he seemed to do just fine.
