I agree, when first got my corn and told a couple of my friends that own snakes too.. all BPs, the reaction I got was similar.. "wow. I didn't know corn snakes were so neat! "
I had one friend that was just baffled at my feeding chart, saying no snake she's ever had had eaten that consecutively.. but she only knew BPs..

I honestly love my corn to death and wouldn't trade him for any snake in the world.. even that 25,000 dollar banana.. his personality alone is worth more than that too me..

I was rather disappointed to see how the Boas and Pythons greatly outnumbered the corns and kings at this past Daytona show. It would be nice to see more corn breeders attending these expos. I'm really hoping next week's FIRE expo in Lakeland will have nice corns available.

Part of the reason for this is the insane price the person who runs the show charges for a table. Most corn breeders just aren't going to recuperate that loss, let alone make money at the show, so for most of them, it's just not worth it.

I am not sure at any of the bigger shows but I know the shows here in Arizona they are $200 for the cheapest table.

If I remember correctly, they were $350 or $400 this year.

Tables at the biggest show in Oregon are currently $90 and an extra $40 if you want a second table. Reasonable enough....
