Omg my snake escaped

Congrats on finding her! I lost mine a couple months back when I fell asleep with him on the couch. Like you, I tore my house apart looking for him to no avail. Two nights later when I had just about given up hope, I was laying on the couch and heard him plop from the couch onto the floor. I don't know who was shocked more when I found him, me or him. I must say I've never seen him so happy to head back into his tank as that night.

To be honest , she don't seem to happy.... I had to lure her from behind the couch with a mouse in a cut open pop bottle and then once half her body was in there i picked her up and moved her in her cage , i let her finish eating before i removed her from the bottle..... Instantly she started climbing and running her face along the glass viv trying ti find a way out , she climbed the vines i have in there and was searching the top for a escape route ...... When she realized she was stuck she went inside her rock for a gd to hours with her head laying on the substrate where i could see it lol was like she was pouting ..... However i did give back the fuzzy hammock but i folded it in half and laid it on the floor , changed her water n finally she came out to investigate , get a drink of water and went in the hammock .... She is still there this morning lol....... I mind you was unbelievably excited n happy lol and danced around my house .......... I did notice she is doing alot of pacing on the sides of her cage to the point where the substrate is gone

Not long after i got my first corn i thought she escaped. I tore her viv apart and searched the whole house. I sat and calmly thought how she could have gotten out when i had the lid weighed down. She couldnt have so i knew she must have been in there somewhere. I had one of those plastic logs in her viv...she had crammed herself into the end of it where i couldnt see her with a flashlight. I broke the end off and she fell right out. I was so happy and now i know not to get those kind of logs again where she can cram herself into it.

I've lost two corns in out of the seven I have. The first one turned up two months later. She was only a hatchling. The other was a sub adult she turned up after 2 weeks. If u can't find her just put out some water for it. It will turn up probably when u least expect it just keep ur eyes open. Also if you have dogs or cats watch them because chance a are that they will smell it. Finally some people say to put out flour. If u have a dog or cat I wouldn't do that because if they eat it they can get very sick.
